Strengthening capacity of the automotive glass repair service

“You will be driving – we will take care of the rest”. This motto has been moving the automotive repair business of Mr Yuriy Dyakiv forward for over 15 years. Bus Glass Service LLC in Lviv started as a pioneer and is now one of the leaders in the sector. The company mainly trades with automotive glass, working with many well-known glass producers on a wholesale and retail basis, and can offer their clients good prices and feasible deadlines. An important part of Bus Glasse’s business is the professional and high-quality glass replacement and repair service.

Buses, cars, trucks, even tractors – Bus Glass Service repairs or replaces glass for all types of transport. The company also provides roadside assistance and emergency help when customers face breakdowns or broken windscreens on the road, i.e. situations that may change from simply unpleasant to dangerous when driving. Yuriy is well aware of the importance of access to a reliable repair service, especially when it concerns poor driver’s visibility and, as a result, an increased risk of accidents or complete inability to continue the road trip.

To increase the company’s capacity for roadside assistance and mobile glass repair, Yuriy invested in the expansion of the fleet of service vehicles. With a EUR 27,000 EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan from the programme’s partner bank OTP Leasing, the company acquired a new Citroen Jumper van. Because more than 20% of Bus Glass’s staff is comprised of veterans, the company benefitted from the special investment incentive combination – 10% base incentive plus an additional 15% under the “Veterans and War-Affected Persons Reintegration Window” (VRW). The total investment incentive reached 25% of the loan amount.

“We offer advanced technologies, modern equipment and, most importantly, experience and skills of qualified specialists to our customers all over Ukraine. Timely delivered services can often prevent complete destruction of the glass or other negative consequences,” Yuriy underlines. “The investment incentive that we received on the loan reduced the cost of financing the new van,  helping our team react promptly and efficiently when drivers meet unexpected situations on the road.
